Where Men Are Men And Cows Are Afraid

Really?

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a third report of cattle being shot and killed in the Dixie-Shreveport area recently.

Two cows were shot Wednesday in the 5900 block of Haygood Road. One died after being shot in the side and was found inside the fence next to the road. The second cow was shot in the stomach and was still alive when found but its current condition is unknown.

A third cow was found dead Friday in a pasture about five miles away on Sentell Road, where another cow was killed in August.

Here’s the real shocker, the cops are now looking for a . . . pickup truck seen in the area.

We ride in those areas and frequently joke about what would happen should a flat tire or the need to pee result in stopping. Guess all stereotypes have some basis in reality.

Was there a gun rack in the back window? I might have seen it . . .
