Geez. I just can’t understand how parents could leave a gun out where a toddler can find it. We always had guns in our house growing up. And they were always locked up tight in a gun cabinet. All three of us girls always even had our own guns, but we were taught very early how to handle them, clean them, and shoot them…and never, ever to do any of those things without my dad present – not that we could have even if we’d wanted to b/c they were locked away.
